  • Matched with a ‘Big Buddy’ to read together
  • Meet once a week at the Mission Public Library

CoderDojo

Held at the Mission Public Library  –  free, volunteer-led, community-based programming club for young people

The CoderDojo movement believes that an understanding of programming languages is increasingly important in the modern world, that it’s both better and easier to learn these skills early, and that nobody should be denied the opportunity to do so.

Homework Club

  • Open to all Mission Elementary School District Students
  • 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at two schools

Once a Year Events:

Family Night

  • Family celebration held in October
  • 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Windebank Elementary School Gym
  • Games, Crafts, and Food

Riot of Reading

  • A celebration of literacy on the last Saturday in January
  • 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Central Elementary School Gym
  • Dancers, drummers, magicians, stories, and literacy information
  • Crafts, pizza, and cake!

Raise-a-Reader

  • Held in September every year
